Lower server hardware costs
(small and medium companies – 200 PC max)

Save on server hardware and software

New employees need computers at their workspaces. IT costs increase for a company as the skill level of its employees increases. Eventually a company’s management has to consider purchasing a new server to optimise workstation administration or expanding its current server supply, acquiring a separate server to run anti-virus software, and hiring an anti-virus software administrator.

If a company has 200 or fewer workstations, it might use an ordinary PC under Unix to run an anti-virus server. But because Unix system administrators are in short supply, companies tend to use a full-fledged (expensive) server running Microsoft Windows Server for this purpose.

Using an anti-virus service allows you to enjoy substantial savings on server hardware and software.
