September 14, 2015

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the server software of its Internet service Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0 which delivers the Dr.Web Anti-virus service to subscribers. The update resolves known issues with the software.

The corrected defects include:

  • The URL lifetime limitation for individual anti-virus installers for Android has been removed to simplify the service's integration with external environments.
  • Defects involving the setting of administrator permissions for working with the Web API and the processing of certain queries to the Dr.Web server have been corrected.
  • An issue that could occasionally result in errors if personal installers for Linux and Mac OS X were downloaded from the server.

The update also delivers documentation in German.

The updated Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0 server software is available through the Dr.Web Control Center web interface, where it will appear as an update dated August 13, 2015.
